The ESL Curriculum lists concepts covered in each level, as well as, the materials used. There are 12 levels in the curriculum, with 3 main Categories. To see details of each curriculum, click on the hyperlink.
2. Intermediate Level Curriculum – This level is for those students that have some experience with spoken English and a general knowledge of grammar but need more practice with a native English speaker. For information on textbooks, please see Required Books.
3. Advanced Level Curriculum – For students that are near fluent in English, this level provides an opportunity to focus on detailed aspects of the English language and improve their writing skills. Completion of the advanced level will prepare students to pass the TOEFL and enter an American university. Some common areas discussed are slang, idioms, and etc. For information on textbooks, please see Required Books.
When students first arrive at Conversa Language Center they are given a placement test to determine their level.
