Bockfest is Cincinnati’s equivalent of Carnival.  Bock is the German word for male goat but is a type of beer made by German monks that they drank during the lenten season to get additional nourishment during the long fast in preparation for Easter.   It’s celebrated the first weekend of March.  This year is the 25th anniversary.  The parade starts a block from Conversa and our students and teachers will be in the parade.  Come join us of a fun, crazy time.  There will be music, food, bock beer and many great floats in the parade.  Meet at Conversa at 5 pm.  For more information, see http://www.bockfest.com/parade.html
